Google Search Console Integration

Google Search Console (GSC) helps you monitor your site’s performance in Google Search (indexing, rankings, queries, page issues, mobile usability, etc.).

Step 1: Add your site in Search Console

  1. Open Search Console: https://search.google.com/search-console
  2. Click Add property

Step 2: Verify site ownership

  1. Select Domain
  2. Search Console will provide a TXT record
  3. Add the TXT record in your DNS provider

Step 3: Submit your sitemap

  1. In the left menu, open Sitemaps
  2. Enter your sitemap URL and submit it, for example:
  • https://your-domain.com/sitemap.xml

Step 4: Verify indexing

Option A: Check in Google Search Console

  1. Open URL inspection
  2. Paste a page URL (e.g. your homepage or a docs page)
  3. Check whether it’s indexed. If it’s not indexed, click Request indexing

Option B: Check via Google Search

  1. Open https://google.com/
  2. Search for site:your_domain, for example site:nexty.dev

FAQ

1) Why is my sitemap submitted but pages are still not indexed?

  • New domains usually need time
  • Make sure the page returns HTTP 200 and robots.txt isn’t blocking crawling
  • Make sure the page is not marked as noindex
